Jason went to get Samuel from the potty this morning, and when he went in, this is the conversation that took place:
Samuel: "I was talking to God, Daddy."
Daddy: "What were you talking about?"
Samuel: "I was talking to Him about how I could see Him in heaven, and He spoke to me.
Daddy: "He did, what did He say?"
Samuel: He said, 'I am with you and I am your Savior.' And I asked Him how I could be with Him. And He said to love Me."
Daddy: Samuel that's the best way to spend your time in the bathroom - talking to God - keep talking to God!!!
This was so precious to my heart this morning! I couldn't help but think of Samuel in the Bible and how the Lord called out to Him and spoke to Him! I pray our little man continues to talk to God all of His days, and that our Lord speaks to Him and uses Him for His glory!!!

I love Jason's response to Samuel to just keep talking to God.
I love blogs for the fact that you will be able to look back on this moment and remember how sweet Samuel is at this age. What a great conversation!
Me TOO, Becky!!! This is kind of like a scrap book, ya know?! I don't scrap book - so this is the closest thing we'll have to it! ; ) I'm very thankful for it!
That gave me chills. This kills the idea that these kids are too young to experience God in such a personal way. We missed you this morning...were you there?
